Summary

Aegis is built to keep your AI activity local by default. We do not collect diagnostics automatically. We do not run hidden telemetry pipelines. Data is only shared when you explicitly choose to share it.

What we do not collect automatically

• No automatic conversation uploads
• No automatic diagnostics uploads
• No background analytics events by default
• No mandatory account identity for core app usage

What stays on device

Conversations, local tool interactions, model settings, and app configuration are stored on device unless you explicitly export or share them.

When data can leave your device

• You enable a cloud model source and send a request
• You use export/share actions from settings or debug tools
• You intentionally provide logs or diagnostic bundles to support

For cloud requests, Aegis can apply strict redaction before transmission, based on your configured policies.

Manual diagnostics sharing

Aegis includes debugging exports to help troubleshoot issues. These exports are generated and shared only when you trigger them. If you do nothing, nothing is sent.
